  The 2nd Annual Puerto Rican & Cuban Festival

  September 20 and 21st, 2008. The 2nd Annual Puerto Rican & Cuban Festival will take place, at the City Hall Plaza and the Tranquility Park, in Downtown. The Festival, which lasts from 10 am to 10 pm, joins on Sunday to the celebration of The 1st Ibero-American Day Parade, which begins at 9am and will continue with a spectacular finale at the main stage of the Festival. Entertainment will include two stages with constant shows and live performances by the most renowned Latin singers, including Christian Nieves- Ricky Martin’s main folkloric guitarist, Charlie Cruz, Kevin Ceballo and 4Ever Bachata as well as a Cuban Comparza with folkloric dancers and musicians. Other festival performers include Houston local bands and Houston dance groups. Online pre-sale tickets for the festival are $8 per person, $12 at the gate and free for children under the age of 8.
